„Nu jucăm decât materiale care ne plac, independent de trendul vremurilor sau de opiniile şefilor din sectorul cultură” – afirmă actorii Teatrului InJest din Belorus.
În decursul celor 17 ani de existenţă colectivul a explorat graniţele şi misterele artei improvizatorice, navigând între pantomimă clasică şi teatrul buf.
Stau mărturie spectacolele susţinute în pieţe, spaţii neconvenţionale considerate până atunci impracticabile şi total nepotrivite pentru actul teatral.
Pe alt plan spectacolul „Peripeţiile soldatului Svejk” a atras atenţia cenzurii din Belorus datorită demersului politic curajos propus de montarea în sine.
Acest spectacol şi multe altele le-au prilejuit numeroase turnee în Germania, Elveţia, Polonia, Suedia, Olanda sau Japonia, culminând în 2006 cu obţinerea marelui premiu la festivalul Sasiezdi din Polonia.

“We play only those materials that we like, don’t taking care of the trends or the cultural bosses opinions” – affirm the actors of InJest Theatre from Belarus.
During our 17 years of existence the group has experienced the borders and mysteries of the art of improvisation, surfing between classical pantomime and buff theatre.
Our performances, maintained in squares, nonconventional places, all of them considered impracticable and absolutely inadequate for theatre acts until that moment, are the proof.
On the other hand, the performance called “The adventures of Svejk soldier” has acclaimed the attention of Belarus censorship because of its brave political tread.
This performance and the other ones too were presented at tours in Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Sweden, Holland or Japan, and they won the big award at the Sasiezdi Festival from Poland in 2006.
“We are anchored in grotesque; we love buffoonery, spiritual archaic that comes out from tribal and ritual, and also any form of cultural synthesis. Our performances are alive and never the same.”
